Maya McDonell 200:1

Work by Maya McDonell

I chose origami, the traditional art of paper folding, since I am Japanese. I folded 200 well-known images of Western art, and one from Japanese paper. My work is about the ratios of Western art to Eastern art, and of male art to female art, that are found in standard high school art textbooks (200:1).
