Stephanie Wilson The revealing

Work by Stephanie Wilson

My works reflect colours and textures of Australian native flora, inspired by eucalypts and the rich textures and forms created through seasonal shedding of their bark. To recreate this, I used porcelain slip cast and manipulated form with underglaze and glaze. The blue gum (Eucalyptus saligna), grey gum (E punctata) and ghost gum (E papuana) influenced colour and construction.
