Christopher Potter Black bird fly

Work by Christopher Potter

My film looks at the issues and consequences of the continuing problem of peer pressure in the younger generation, leading to risk-taking activity that can result in tragedy. After qualifying for a driver’s licence, I became increasingly aware of the attitudes of my peers and the number of accidents occurring through mistaken confidence and risk-taking behaviour. I used clay animation as a medium because it is often used in children’s media as a means of teaching children responsible actions and values.
