Rianna Ruming The world as we know it
Place exists on a spectrum of reality. Drawing this spectrum ties together the world we know, with a world that is logical and realistic, with a world constantly evolving and shifting, with a world that can be interpreted and imagined. In representing this concept I encountered a transition from realistic depictions through to surreal dreamscapes, in an interaction between graphite and ink. These distinct places are, collaboratively, the world as we know it.
