Celine Luu Deterioration of the mind

Bones are seen as being strong and resilient. However, when met with an overwhelming amount of pressure, they may break. I have used bones as symbols for the arduous obstacles in one’s life. Bumps and crevices portray the damage that one may experience. Sinews are visual codes for strength, power and determination to move. My body of work represents how fragile and delicate we are as humans and how we neglect the significance of self-care, both for our body and our mind.
